IT Generalist – Internal Systems & Infrastructure

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Compensation: £50,000–£80,000

Our client is seeking an IT Generalist to support internal systems, infrastructure, and day-to-day technology operations across a globally distributed team. This role ensures employees have reliable, secure access to the tools and systems they need while supporting hardware, software, identity management, and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and enjoys helping technical teams work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage SaaS platforms and identity systems including SSO, SAML, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, and cloud platforms
• Provide internal technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues
• Procure, configure, and deploy laptops, devices, and equipment for staff
• Maintain device management, updates, and refresh cycles across macOS, Windows, and Linux systems
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes including account setup, access control, and equipment provisioning
• Help develop and implement internal policies, automation, and compliance processes
• Coordinate with vendors and technology partners when needed
• Provide occasional onsite IT support at company facilities

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SaaS environments and identity management systems
• Strong troubleshooting ability across hardware, operating systems, and productivity tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, collaboration tools, and distributed team environments
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Organized, responsive, and comfortable supporting a global team across time zones
• Strong customer-service mindset with patience and professionalism
