Technical Support Engineer

Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation who have an exciting opportunity to join their IT team. This opportunity would suit a candidate who has previous experience within a Technical Support role, someone who is passionate about IT and technology, as well as someone who has a flexible approach to work.
This opportunity will predominantly be office based, there will be occasional travel to other sites.

Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 plus great benefits
Monday - Friday with some occasional out of hours which will be repaid with time off in lieu
Hybrid working with 4 days in and 1 day from home

Some of the duties include:

• Providing hands-on and remote IT support across corporate and venue locations
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and connectivity issues
• Supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune
• Supporting wired and wireless networks, servers and IT infrastructure
• Working with POS, AV, VoIP, CCTV and specialist venue technology
• Managing incidents through an IT ticketing system and prioritising business-critical issues
• Building and configuring laptops, desktops and mobile devices
• Supporting new-starter IT onboarding
• Maintaining IT documentation, asset inventories and venue technology standards
• Working with vendors and internal technology teams to resolve issues quickly
• Travelling to venues as required

The suitable candidate:

• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience
• Good Windows and Apple/iOS knowledge
• Solid networking and Wi-Fi troubleshooting skills
• Experience with IT ticketing/helpdesk systems
• Experience supporting hardware, servers and IT infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• The ability to work independently while collaborating with operational teams
• A full UK driving licence
