Global Process Owner
My client is currently looking for a Global Process Owner for there large ongoing projects. The global process owner is accountable for defining, governing, and continuously improving how the client manages its partner ecosystem globally. The clients commercial model is built entirely on partner relationships — resellers, VARs, integrators, and managed service providers. This role owns the global process framework for how the client recruits, onboards, certifies, tiers, enables, and measures partners, ensuring that partner management processes and systems are coherent, commercially effective, and scalable across all regions.
This is not a partner-facing or partner sales role. It is a process ownership role — setting global standards for how the client manages its partner base, maintaining process integrity across the partner lifecycle, and ensuring that partner data quality is sufficient to support accurate quoting, targeted marketing, and commercial decision-making.
Context
My client operates with a complex and varied partner base across many countries. Partner relationships are currently managed inconsistently: different certification processes, different tiering criteria, different enablement approaches, and fragmented partner data spread across multiple systems. The same partner can appear differently — or be missing entirely — depending on which country or system you look at.
As Salesforce CRM and CPQ are implemented globally, and as Informatica MDM brings consistency to partner master data, there is a clear opportunity to standardise the global partner management process. The PRM GPO role leads that standardisation — ensuring that partner processes in CRM reflect how the client actually manages its partner ecosystem, and that partner data is structured well enough to support quoting accuracy, partner programme compliance, and commercial analytics.
The PRM process scope includes: Partner Strategy, Recruit & Certification, Partner Performance & Tiering, Partner Enablement, and Partner Master Data.
Essential
- Deep experience in channel partner management, partner programme design, or partner operations in a B2B technology environment
- Strong understanding of partner ecosystems: tier structures, certification models, co-selling frameworks, deal registration, and partner marketing
- Proven ability to define and govern business processes across multiple geographies and partner types — understanding that a global standard must be implementable across diverse regional contexts
- Experience as a business process owner for CRM or partner management systems — defining how partner relationships, tiers, and activities should be structured in systems, and articulating clear requirements to IT partners
- Ability to work across sales, marketing, vendor management, and IT; comfortable in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with limited formal authority
Desirable
- Experience in B2B technology distribution, value-added distribution, or channel programme management
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM partner account management and Partner Community features
- Experience working with vendor partner programmes from a distributor perspective — understanding how vendor programme requirements translate into the clients own partner management practices
- Background working with master data management for partner or customer entities; understanding of how partner data structure affects downstream operational and commercial processes
- Experience with partner portal design or partner self-service enablement at scale
Technical Environment
- Salesforce CRM (primary system — partner account management, deal registration, partner community)
- Informatica MDM (partner master data — in implementation)
- HubSpot (partner marketing automation — upstream marketing processes)
- Salesforce CPQ (partner-specific quoting and pricing)
- Power BI / Databricks (partner performance analytics and reporting)
