About Thinqi
We are Thinqi - - a rapidly scaling learning technology company on a mission to transform how the world learns. With over 25 million users globally experiencing our platform, we're not just delivering digital learning - we're creating moments of discovery, growth, and genuine transformation for people and organizations worldwide.
We believe curiosity is a superpower, and we're building something special with a team that shares our passion for learning and innovation. Our culture thrives on entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative energy, and the shared belief that great learning experiences can change everything.
This is where pipeline begins, and where your career in tech sales can truly take off. We're looking for an SDR who understands that great opportunities don't just appear; they're created through smart research, compelling outreach, and genuine conversations.
You'll be the crucial first connection between Thinqi and the organisations we can help. Working across defined verticals, you'll identify decision makers, spark their interest, and book qualified meetings that our Sales Executives turn into long-term customer relationships. Think of yourself as the architect of our sales pipeline. Every meeting you book is the foundation of a potential success story.
This isn't about volume for volume's sake. We want quality conversations with the right people, and you'll have the autonomy to develop creative approaches to make that happen.
- You have 2+ years of SDR or lead generation experience in B2B SaaS and can demonstrate how your efforts converted into qualified pipeline
- You're naturally curious and genuinely enjoy researching companies, understanding their challenges, and finding the right angle to start a conversation
- You're a confident communicator who can engage prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and video with equal skill
- You understand what "qualified" really means - you've worked with qualification frameworks and know how to identify genuine opportunities
- You're resilient and creative - you see a "no" as useful information, not a defeat, and you're always testing new approaches
- You're comfortable working verticals and can quickly become knowledgeable about specific sectors and their unique challenges
- You're metrics-driven and take pride in hitting (and exceeding) your activity and meeting targets
- You genuinely care about quality - you'd rather book 5 excellent meetings than 15 that go nowhere
- You're hungry to grow - you see this role as a launchpad into a successful sales career, not just a job
- You're brand new to sales development - we need someone who already understands the fundamentals of B2B prospecting - This is a fundamental requirement.
- You prefer reactive work - this role requires proactive outreach and self-motivation every single day
- You're uncomfortable on the phone or avoid direct conversations with prospects
- You focus purely on quantity over quality - spray-and-pray isn't our style
- You struggle with rejection - prospecting requires resilience and a positive mindset
- You can't demonstrate previous success in booking qualified meetings that converted to pipeline
- You're not interested in learning about different industries and adapting your approach accordingly
Prospecting & Outreach
- Research and identify key decision makers within target accounts across assigned verticals
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn, and video messaging
- Craft personalised, compelling messaging that resonates with specific sectors and personas
- Maintain consistent daily activity levels while never compromising on quality
Qualification & Handover
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospect challenges and identify genuine opportunities
- Apply qualification criteria to ensure meetings are genuinely valuable for both prospects and our Sales Executives
- Prepare comprehensive handover notes that set your colleagues up for success
- Collaborate closely with Sales Executives to refine ideal customer profiles and targeting
Pipeline Development
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of engaged prospects at various stages
- Track and nurture leads that aren't yet ready for a sales conversation
- Contribute insights from prospect conversations to help shape marketing messaging and content
- Participate in team sessions to share what's working and learn from colleagues
Essential Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B SDR experience with demonstrable success in booking qualified meetings (we want to hear your numbers!)
- Proven track record of meetings that converted into pipeline - not just activity metrics
- Experience with multi-channel outreach including phone, email, and social selling
- Strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand new industries and verticals
- Excellent verbal and written communication - you can be compelling in a cold call and a cold email
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) with disciplined data management
- Familiarity with sales engagement tools (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar)
Highly Desirable
- Experience prospecting into L&D, HR, or training functions
- Background working defined verticals (public sector, healthcare, financial services, etc.)
- Understanding of learning technology, LMS platforms, or HR tech
- Experience with video prospecting tools
- Base Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
- On-Target Earnings: Competitive
- Clear progression path to Sales Executive roles for high performers
- Annual Leave: 25 days plus public holidays
- Pension scheme with employer contributions
- LinkedIn Learning license and professional development budget
- Modern tech stack and home office setup allowance
- Application Review: Response within 5 working days
- Screening Call: 30-minute discovery call with our recruiter
- Skills Interview: Competency-based interview
- Team Meeting: Meet the team you'll be working alongside
- Reference Checks: We'll want to hear about your pipeline contribution from previous managers
If you're an SDR who takes pride in quality over quantity, who gets a genuine buzz from booking meetings that actually convert, and who sees this as the next step in building a brilliant sales career - we'd love to hear from you.
You'll be joining a team that celebrates wins together, invests in your development, and genuinely believes that the work we do helps organisations transform how their people learn and grow.
Applications must include specific metrics from your previous SDR roles - meetings booked, conversion rates, pipeline generated. We want to understand your impact!
