Technical Business Analyst

Our leading Investment Banking client is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a team focused on delivering scalable solutions across business-critical systems and data platforms.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll bridge business and technology, working closely with stakeholders and engineers to translate requirements and drive delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

Working with stakeholders to capture and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Partnering closely with development teams to support end-to-end delivery

Using SQL to analyse and validate large datasets across systems

Applying Python scripting to support data analysis, automation and solution design

Identifying gaps, risks and opportunities across the delivery lifecycle

Driving outcomes in a proactive, solutions-focused environment

What we’re looking for:

Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst within financial services

Solid understanding of systems, data flows and technical environments

Strong SQL skills

Exposure to Python scripting

Ability to confidently bridge business and technology teams

Proactive mindset with a focus on delivery

Desirable skills:

Experience working on data-driven or system migration projects

Exposure to Agile delivery environments

Understanding of banking products or workflows

Experience working closely with engineering teams
