Main duties of the job
The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure. This role ensures the security, reliability, and efficiency of IT operations while supporting business objectives through technology solutions

Job responsibilities
- Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user devices.
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware and software.
- Ensure network availability, system performance, and data security.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Lead IT support operations and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, software licensing, and procurement.
- Supervise and mentor IT staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company security standards.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance to management and support strategic business initiatives.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365, virtualization technologies, backup solutions, and IT service management.
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cloud computing, cybersecurity, databases, and operating systems.
- Experience of working in primary care
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
