Alongside this, you will support training for system users, maintain procedures and documentation, and help identify opportunities for system improvements, ensuring ICT systems remain effective, compliant and aligned with service priorities.Additionally, you will:- Liaise with software providers, council departments, partners and other authorities- Set up new users and maintain appropriate system access and security permissions- Produce system access and audit reports and ensure updates are tested and implemented- Co-ordinate upgrades and implement new systems- Assist in developing business cases and project documentation for new systems- Monitor service performance through feedback and data analysis- Assist with monitoring ICT system budgets and related hardware and software About You To be considered as a Senior Systems Support Officer, you will need:- Experience in technical administration, project management, auditing or ICT- Experience of working across professional and technical boundaries- IT literacy with specialist knowledge of Idox Uniform or similar applications- The ability to project manage alongside multi-disciplinary teams- The ability to negotiate and create positive solutions with a variety of stakeholders- The ability to effectively manage resources, including people and budgets- The ability to analyse and interpret a range of data- Basic knowledge of planning, licensing, and other functions of the DirectorateA basic DBS check will be carried out for this post.The closing date for this role is 30th March 2026.Other organisations may call this role Senior Application Support Analyst, Senior Systems Analyst, Senior IT Systems Officer, Senior IT Systems Support Analyst, Senior Business Systems Analyst, Senior Applications Support Officer, Systems Support Analyst, or IT Systems Administrator.Webrecruit and Three Rivers District Council are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
