Graduate Analyst With AI Capability
Thrive give building constructors, owners, operators and end users the, intelligence, insights and tools to optimise building performance, end user experience, energy use and operating cost. We have three core services:
Thrive Integrate: We design, install, integrate and commission secure interoperable building automation controls systems that enable building performance to be monitored, analysed and optimised in real time.
Thrive Host: We collect, store and structure secure, high frequency building performance data in our cloud platform.
Thrive Optimise: We deliver insights that help clients monitor, control, predict, and optimise building performance using advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI optimisation
We are a dynamic team of passionate and straightforward people, inspired by our mission to ‘revolutionise building performance and occupant experience’. We are building the industry’s most deployable, adaptive and cognitive building performance intelligence hub and operating system. AI is a core part of our product and internal tooling.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a curious, analytical, and ambitious Graduate Data Analyst with an interest in Artificial Intelligence. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who wants to blend strong analytical fundamentals with emerging AI capabilities. You’ll join a team that leverages data to drive decision‐making, improve business performance, and build next‐generation insights powered by AI tools and techniques.
As a Graduate Data Analyst, you'll work with real‐world datasets, build dashboards, uncover patterns, and contribute to AI‐assisted analytics workflows (e.g., automated insights, predictive modelling, and natural language queries over data). You’ll work alongside other analysts, developers, owners and product leaders, with the autonomy to own projects end-to-end and the mentorship to grow quickly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse structured and unstructured datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Build clear, accurate data visualisations and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Communicate findings in a way that supports decision‐making across the business.
- AI‐Driven Insights
- Use AI tooling (e.g., generative AI, machine learning libraries, AutoML platforms) to speed up analysis and enhance insight generation.
- Support lightweight predictive or classification models under guidance from senior analysts/data scientists.
- Contribute to the development of AI‐powered analytics workflows (e.g., natural language data querying).
- Data Management
- Clean, validate, and structure datasets for analysis.
- Work with SQL databases and data pipelines to ensure high‐quality data availability.
- Collaboration
- Work with stakeholders to understand data needs.
- Document findings, processes, and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
- A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to solve problems logically.
- Foundation skills in:
- Python (pandas, numpy, scikit‐learn beneficial)
- SQL
- Data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- A genuine interest in AI — whether through academic learning, projects, internships, or hands‐on experimentation.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm to learn new technologies, tools, and analytical methods.
Desirable
- Experience with AutoML or cloud AI services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or generative AI tools.
- Exposure to version control (Git) or data pipeline tools.
- Internship or project experience in analytics or data science.
What We Offer:
- A great team environment
- Competitive salary and benefits
- Structured onboarding and formal mentoring
- Clear progression pathways and promotion frameworks
