Senior Software Engineer - Golang

A high-performing rapidly growing capital markets organisation based in London are on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Golang or Python.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, startup minded, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be one of the early additions to the engineering team and have real agency and progression opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Full ownership of multiple projects
• Independent project management of complex problem solving
• Strong communication between the engineering teams and the other departments on complex problem solving and solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 4+ years of experience in a professional Software Engineering environment
• Strong proficiency in Golang or Python
• Tech-agnostic engineer, with competence in a major programming language (experience in functional programming languages is preferred)
• Knowledge or willing to learn Elixir
• Industry background in Capital Markets, Financial Services or Fintech preferred but not essential
• Experience in a startup is a nice to have

Base Salary Range - £85,000 - £100,000 based on proficiency and experience

Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days from home
