Executive Assistant
Fantastic EA opportunity supporting a Director of Communications Temporary | ASAP Start | £18-20 per hour | West End, London WHO YOU ARE An experienced EA or senior PA who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment and is comfortable juggling comprehensive diary and admin support with exposure to communications and PR. You'll have exceptional organisational skills, natural discretion, and the gravitas to liaise confidently with stakeholders at every level.THE ROLE A brilliant opportunity to join the Communications team of a highly prestigious institution, providing EA support to the Director and wider comms team, with scope for the role to go permanent for the right person.
- Comprehensive diary management, correspondence and inbox monitoring for the Director
- Handling calls, travel planning and expenses processing
- Managing team contact databases and planning documents
- Overseeing electronic and manual filing systems
- Processing accounts, raising purchase orders and ensuring timely payments
- Leading on onboarding for new team members and leavers
- Supporting team events and coordinating administration across the office
- Acting as the central point of contact for IT, systems and telephony
- Providing ad hoc support to the wider team, including call screening and diary cover
- Helping to manage the team's media monitoring service
- Proven experience providing senior-level PA/EA support, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with close attention to detail
- Natural interpersonal skills and experience liaising with people at all levels, with tact and discretion
- The ability to prioritise, use initiative and remain calm under pressure
- A proactive, flexible approach and genuine enjoyment of both independent and team-based work
- A good understanding of current affairs
- Some basic PR/communications experience desirable
