IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager to lead the delivery, performance and continual improvement of IT services across the organisation. Working closely with the IT Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering the IT infrastructure and operations roadmap across a fast-paced, project-based environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead day-to-day IT infrastructure and operations services across the business
  • Manage and improve cloud platforms including Azure, Microsoft 365, Teams and SharePoint
  • Oversee networking, telephony, desktop technologies and end-user services
  • Drive service performance, incident management, problem resolution and continuous improvement
  • Manage relationships and performance of Managed Service Providers and third-party suppliers
  • Lead change, release, asset and configuration management processes
  • Ensure resilience, security, backup and disaster recovery capabilities are maintained
  • Act as a senior technical SME and support emerging technology initiatives
  • Mentor and develop the IT Operations team while promoting a strong learning culture

What we’re looking for

  • Strong background in IT Infrastructure and Operations leadership
  • Technical expertise across Azure, M365, networking and end-user technologies
  • Experience managing operational IT teams and external suppliers
  • Knowledge of ITIL and service management best practice
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to business sites as required and ability to obtain Security Clearance
