We are helping a large UK-owned software group to build and scale a world-class, modern software engineering organisation in Manchester. They have very ambitious plans and the budget to make it happen.
We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to guide a cross-functional squad to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality software.
You’ll combine hands-on coding with technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and driving best practices in cloud-native development, CI/CD, and Agile delivery. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with Product, Architecture, and SRE teams to ensure alignment and technical excellence.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer with leadership responsibilities
- Strong technical skills in .NET and/or JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Node.js, React.js)
- Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps principles, and secure software development
- Experience with software design and a good understanding of architectural principles
- Experience implementing agentic AI development
