About the Role:
Our client, aleading B2B data, intelligence, and events company, providing business development-led market research across the US and Europeanrenewable energy, power, and data centre industries, is seeking a commercially focusedBusiness Development Manager - Subscriptionto drive growth in the European Data Centre market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record inB2B subscription-based sales, particularly withindata centres, digital infrastructure, or related technology sectors. You will be responsible forwinning new subscription clients, managing existing accounts, and driving recurring revenueby leveraging the company’s data, insights, and platform solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop new subscription-based business opportunities through a proactive go-to-market strategy
Identify clients where the company can add the greatest value through subscription solutions
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for subscription accounts, from prospecting to closing deals
Present complex data centre and digital infrastructure solutions clearly and compellingly
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to ensure subscription adoption and retention
Stay informed on European data centre industry trends and competitor activity
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth subscription onboarding and client experience
Act as a client and product champion, gathering feedback to improve offerings
Professional and Personal Attributes:
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in B2B subscription-based sales or account management, ideally in data centres, digital infrastructure, or related sectors
Proven track record of new business development and revenue growth
Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-driven and able to manage workload effectively under pressure
Forward-thinking, proactive, and solution-focused
Comfortable delivering presentations and client demos
Team player with a personable and professional approach
