Role: AI Adoption Consultant

Location: London (hybrid)

Contract: 6–9 months

Commitment: 3–4 days per week (flexible)

IR35: Outside

Rate: 800

On-site expectation: ~1 day per week in our London office + occasional face-to-face sessions

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in advancing AI understanding and adoption across teams—combining hands-on delivery with cross-functional coordination. You’ll help unlock opportunities, implement guardrails, and ensure AI is deployed responsibly and effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with teams across the organisation to identify and implement AI-driven process improvements
• Demonstrate AI capabilities through practical use cases and prototypes
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to define and roll out safe guardrails for agentic systems (e.g. Codex), including sandbox/container approaches
• Design and deliver training, workshops, and awareness initiatives to boost AI literacy
• Support legal and data protection teams with risk assessment and evaluation of AI features in SaaS tools
• Contribute to improving governance and processes for adopting AI technologies
• Work with People & Culture to assess and roll out AI learning programmes
• Partner with leadership to shape AI strategy and roadmap
• Help organise and deliver engaging initiatives such as AI hackathons

What We’re Looking For

• AI Fluency: Proven, hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g. RAG, agentic systems, tools like Claude Code / Codex)
• Solution Discovery: Track record of delivering successful AI pilots/products, identifying opportunities, and iterating with stakeholders
• Communication & Coaching: Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and coach teams effectively
• 5+ years experience working on transformation projects across IT
• 2+ years experience within AI Adoption and & AI strategy
• Experience working across both technical and non-technical teams in dynamic environments
