Package: £85-95k + 20% bonus

We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our clients scaling fintech company. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a real impact in the financial services sector.

What You'll Be Working With:

You'll be working extensively with Java and Azure as our core technology stack. Our infrastructure is built on Azure cloud services, and we're looking for someone who can leverage Azure's full potential to build scalable, secure solutions. Your Java expertise will be crucial as we continue to expand our platform and enhance our backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack applications using Java for backend services
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on Azure
• Develop responsive front-end features using JavaScript and modern frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial products
• Ensure code quality, testing, and deployment best practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in Java backend development
• Proven experience with Azure cloud platform and services, open to AWS experience
• Experience of container services like Kubernetes, Docker etc
• Solid JavaScript knowledge and experience with modern frameworks
• Experience working in fintech or regulated environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
