CRO & UX Specialist
Who are we?
We’re a forward-thinking ecommerce agency that designs, builds, and optimises tailor-made e-commerce websites. From ambitious challenger brands to high street retailers, our portfolio spans Fashion, Homeware, Luxury, and more, featuring names like Oliver Bonas, Topps Tiles, Agent Provocateur, and LeMieux.
At the forefront of digital innovation, we also operate as a dedicated AI Agency, providing e-commerce brands with custom workflow automations and consultancy to drive productivity and scale.
Above all, we believe work should be fun. We produce our best digital experience and build the strongest partnerships when our team enjoys their job and is truly passionate about what they do.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a CRO & UX Specialist to join our design team and work across our ecommerce optimisation and user experience offering. You'll sit at the intersection of qualitative design craft and quantitative conversion data - translating behavioural insight into ideas worth testing.
We're a small, close-knit agency, so this is a hands-on role with real breadth.
Day to day, you'll be contributing to website experience strategies for clients, identifying opportunities, supporting testing roadmaps, and executing design solutions that measurably improve ecommerce performance.
We also want you to bring AI into your daily workflow - using modern tools to speed up ideation, analyse data more efficiently, and deliver smarter design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
CRO & Experimentation
- Generate evidence-based hypotheses for client A/B tests, using quantitative data, UX heuristics, and commercial goals to guide your thinking.
- Review and interpret behavioural and analytics data using tools like ContentSquare, Hotjar, and GA4 to identify drop-offs and surface actionable insights.
- Brief test ideas into ClickUp/JIRA for scoping, design, and development handoff.
- Activate experiments in Convert or Adobe Target once they've passed QA and received client sign-off.
- Monitor experiment performance whilst live, tracking progress until statistical significance is reached before pausing.
- Analyse results across Convert, Adobe Target, and GA4 and produce clear conclusion reports to present back to clients.
- Use AI tools to speed up data synthesis and hypothesis generation.
UX, Design & AI
- Contribute to UX and conversion strategy across key accounts, sharing ideas with the team and presenting directly to clients.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and desk research to inform UX decisions and identify best-in-class patterns across the ecommerce landscape.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate high-converting ideas clearly.
- Use AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to speed up ideation, wireframing, and copy generation.
- Take part in client workshops to explore business problems and develop viable solutions.
- Skills and experience
- 3-5 years working hands-on with ecommerce websites in a UX, CRO, or Growth Design capacity. Agency background preferred.
- Comfortable using analytics and behavioural insight tools (GA4, Hotjar, ContentSquare, Convert.com, Adobe Target or similar) to inform design decisions.
- Solid experience in wireframing, prototyping, and mapping user journeys, with a preference for moving quickly and iterating.
- Confident presenting work and test results to both internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Experienced using AI tools day to day, whether for rapid prototyping, data analysis, or concept generation.
- Able to manage multiple client projects and priorities at pace.
- Capable of conducting qualitative research when required, but comfortable making decisions from quantitative data and heuristic evaluation most of the time.
