The Role

As a key contributor to this high-impact team, you will:

• Lead the design and development of robust software solutions to solve sophisticated business problems.
• Take ownership of technical architecture, focusing on the creation of scalable and maintainable microservices.
• Move beyond standard patterns by applying innovative thinking and sound engineering judgment to bespoke technical hurdles.
• Champion engineering productivity by utilizing and experimenting with AI-assisted developer tools and agentic AI.

The Ideal Candidate

• Java Specialist: You possess a deep understanding of the Java ecosystem, specifically Spring and Spring Boot, for building enterprise-grade applications.
• Cloud Fluency: You are comfortable navigating cloud environments, with a strong preference for those who have worked extensively within AWS.
• Forward-Thinking: You aren't just writing code; you are leveraging modern AI-assisted tools to optimize workflows and increase output quality.
• Data-Driven: You have solid data analysis skills and feel at home working on applications where data integrity and performance are paramount.
• Adaptable: You thrive in environments that require both high-level architectural thinking and hands-on troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience in Java and Spring Boot (Required).
• Proven background in AWS or similar cloud platforms (Required).
• Previous experience with AI developer tools or agentic AI (Highly Desirable).
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with complex data structures (Required).
