Role Overview - What’s ‘In-store’?

The Procurement Category Leader – Direct Procurement leads the end-to-end strategy for OEM, Hardware, Software, and Services categories.

The role combines strategic sourcing, supplier management, and commercial leadership, partnering cross-functionally to deliver value, manage risk, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive cost models for Toshiba and OEM product service solutions, including Field Maintenance contracts, IMACD project work, and Helpdesk Services
  • Create competitive and profitable pricing proposals for new business opportunities and contract renewals
  • Analyse third-party supplier costs and negotiate favourable rates with specialist solution providers
  • Build and maintain pricing databases, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Conduct profitability analysis on existing contracts and identify opportunities for margin improvement
  • Support the bid process by providing accurate cost breakdowns and pricing rationale for customer proposals
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery teams to understand operational costs, labour rates, and resource requirements
  • Model Helpdesk service pricing including staffing levels, shift patterns, and multilingual support requirements
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry benchmarks to inform pricing strategies
  • Prepare financial analysis and pricing recommendations for senior management and director-level stakeholders
  • Ensure pricing compliance with company policies and contractual obligations

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a costing, pricing, or commercial analyst role within a service-based or technology environment
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modelling
  • Experience developing cost models and pricing structures for service contracts
  • Understanding of gross profit margins, cost allocation, and pricing methodologies
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in the retail technology, field services, or IT services sector
  • Knowledge of IMACD/IMAC project delivery, Helpdesk operations, and Managed Services commercial models
  • Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Understanding of European market dynamics and multi-territory pricing considerations
  • Professional qualification in finance, accounting, or business management
