The Opportunity

An award winning global law firm is looking to hire a 2–4 PQE Associate to join its established London TMT practice, working within a team that is particularly well known for its work across the telecommunications sector.

The practice advises a broad range of telecoms and digital infrastructure clients including network operators, communications providers, investors and public bodies. The work regularly involves complex regulatory questions as well as commercial arrangements that sit behind major communications infrastructure and technology projects.

Matters frequently have an international dimension and can involve advising on issues such as telecoms licensing regimes, regulatory compliance, network arrangements, infrastructure deployment and wider communications law issues affecting telecoms operators and technology platforms.

The role offers the chance to work closely with a highly respected telecoms specialist who has been involved in a number of significant sector projects and regulatory developments. It is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate who wants to deepen their specialism within telecoms and develop a strong profile in this area of the market.

The Candidate

You will be a 2–4 PQE Associate currently and telecommunications experience is essential.

Candidates should already have exposure to telecoms regulatory work and/or commercial matters involving communications infrastructure, telecoms operators or digital connectivity projects.

Strong academics, good technical ability and a genuine interest in the telecoms sector will be important.

This opportunity will particularly appeal to lawyers who want to build a long-term career focused on telecommunications within a highly regarded international practice.
