About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Technician to join a network of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across Bromley. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with a passion for technology and education to make a real impact in a dynamic school environment.

As an IT Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the school's IT systems, ensuring technology runs smoothly to enhance teaching, learning, and administration. You'll provide hands-on technical support to staff and students, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the school's digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support for staff and students across the school.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems.

  • Support classroom technology, including interactive whiteboards, printers, and AV equipment.

  • Assist with system upgrades, network maintenance, and IT projects.

  • Ensure data security and compliance with safeguarding and GDPR standards.

About You:

  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • A positive attitude with a commitment to supporting education through technology.

  • Experience in a school or educational IT environment is desirable but not essential.
