About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Technician to join a network of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across Bromley. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with a passion for technology and education to make a real impact in a dynamic school environment.
As an IT Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the school's IT systems, ensuring technology runs smoothly to enhance teaching, learning, and administration. You'll provide hands-on technical support to staff and students, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the school's digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line technical support for staff and students across the school.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems.

Support classroom technology, including interactive whiteboards, printers, and AV equipment.

Assist with system upgrades, network maintenance, and IT projects.

Ensure data security and compliance with safeguarding and GDPR standards.
