Engineering Technician Apprentice

At Transmission Dynamics, we design and manufacture advanced wireless telemetry and data acquisition systems for some of the world’s most demanding industrial environments. We are looking for an Engineering Technician to help transform engineering designs into reliable, high-quality products. 

· Carry out precision soldering of instrumentation wiring and surface-mount electronic components.

· Prepare, check and organise components and materials against bills of materials (BoMs).

· Assemble, wire and finish products to approved drawings, work instructions and standard operating procedures.

· Complete systematic functional and quality testing, identifying any non-conformances or build issues.

· Record results accurately and produce detailed, traceable test reports.

· Work with Electronics Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and production colleagues to resolve technical issues and meet project requirements.

· Support customer installations and other technical activities, including occasional travel where required.

· Contribute to continuous improvement, safe working practices and the efficient operation of the business.

Your work will contribute to technology used across renewable energy, mining, marine, defence, automotive and rail applications.
