Junior Developer

This is an office-based role offering hybrid working. Please do not apply if you are seeking full-time remote working.

Our client is looking for a Junior Developer to join a growing warehousing and supply chain facility to develop and maintain systems software and computing infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will ideally possess 1-2 years commercial experience, but they will consider talented graduates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing exciting projects, working in a team-oriented environment with a desire to learn constantly about web-based technologies and trends.

Experience in as many of the following:

• Coding
• Debugging
• Designing and testing computer structures
• Troubleshooting system errors
• Managing database systems
• Editing source-code
• Providing tech support
• Report / Dashboard creation

Systems knowledge of as many of the following:

• Essential - Dot net framework; SQL; Javascript; Typescript
• Desirable – Python; AJAX; PHP; HTML; Power BI; Report Builder

Skills, Education and Experience required

• Degree in computer science or computer programming
• 1-2 years commercial experience desirable
• End user oriented
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Aptitude for learning new technology
• Deadline driven
• Superior communication skills
• Must be a driver due to the location of our client
