We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established and growing electronics manufacturer. Working within the Final Inspection department, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards and customer requirements before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect products against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements, identifying any manufacturing defects prior to delivery.
- Carry out visual inspections and electronic testing to ensure products meet quality and compliance standards.
- Record inspection results, test data, and quality documentation accurately.
- Complete ISIR, PPAP, and FAIR documentation.
- Use a range of measuring equipment, including micrometers and verniers.
- Raise and escalate non-conformances and quality concerns to the Quality Engineer for investigation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in electronics engineering and quality assurance.
- Previous experience within electronics inspection is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of IPC standards would be advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
