Travel & Hospitality Talent Hub are partnering with a leading organisation undergoing an exciting period of business transformation, with a strong focus on sustainable growth, innovation and technology-enabled change.
As part of this journey, they are looking to appoint an experienced Head of PMO (Project Management Office) to join their Technology Department and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s technology portfolio.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a strategic, commercially minded and results-driven professional who can bring structure, visibility and consistency to a complex portfolio of technology projects and programmes.
You will be responsible for ensuring that technology initiatives are effectively prioritised, appropriately resourced and aligned with the organisation’s wider strategic objectives, while driving strong governance, delivery excellence and continuous improvement across the function.
Leading the Technology PMO team, you will oversee portfolio management, resource planning, performance reporting and governance processes, providing senior stakeholders with the insight and transparency needed to make informed decisions around investment, priorities and delivery. You will work closely with technology leaders, project managers, delivery teams, finance and wider business stakeholders to manage dependencies, mitigate risks and ensure projects remain on track in terms of scope, budget, timelines and expected business outcomes.
A key aspect of the role will be to strengthen project and portfolio management capabilities, enhance existing processes and champion best practices across the Technology Department. You will also play an important role in fostering a high-performance culture, developing your team and promoting collaboration across technology and business functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established PMO leader who enjoys working at both a strategic and operational level, influencing senior stakeholders and driving meaningful change within a technology-led environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on portfolio performance, resource optimisation and the successful delivery of key technology initiatives.
