Sales Director (Player-Manager) — Three Income Streams — Commission Only

Konexus is the small-business platform built by OPM Technology Ltd, a UK technology company growing through 2026 and beyond. We have a working product, paying clients, an active closer team, and a separate B2B platform-licensing business serving UK call centres and outbound operators. We are now hiring a Sales Director to take ownership of the commercial operation as we scale.

This is a player-manager role designed around the way the best commercial people actually want to work. You stay close to the conversation by closing personally. You build and lead a team alongside that. And you have a third sales motion built in, selling our platform to B2B operators on a consultative, longer-cycle basis. Three sales motions, three ways to earn, one role that rewards range as well as depth.

We are not a one-product business. Konexus Websites is what is live and revenue-generating today. SocialPilot launches imminently. AI Receptionist follows on the roadmap. Lead Generation comes after that. Each new module is a new product your team can cross-sell to a client base they have already built. The closer who closed a website in month one will be selling SocialPilot to the same client in month four, and AI Receptionist in month eight. Your override compounds as the platform expands, and so does the platform-licensing business behind it.

- You close Konexus deals personally, working a proven outbound script with full platform support behind you.

- You recruit and lead a team of self-employed closers, growing the operation toward 30 closers within 90 days.

- You sell the Konexus CRM Platform to UK B2B operators at £25,000 per licence, a higher-value, consultative B2B sale alongside the team-build work.

- You report directly to the CEO. You run the sales operation; we keep the structure light around you.

Three income streams that compound:

1. Personal closing commission. You earn 20% on every Konexus Websites setup fee you personally close, stepping to 30% once you hit 10 or more closes in any rolling 30-day window. The same generous tier mechanics every closer in the team operates under.

2. Team override. You earn 3% on every setup fee from closers you recruit and onboard, plus 3% on the monthly recurring revenue from clients those closers bring in. Plus a £750 ramp bonus per closer you onboard who hits 10 closes in their first 60 days. The override compounds month after month as your team grows and as new modules launch.

Platform commission. You earn 8% on every signed Konexus CRM Platform licence to a B2B operator. £2,000 per standard £25,000 deal, paid when the buyer's licence payment clears.

There is also a discretionary monthly performance bonus on top.

At conservative steady state with a 30-closer team operating across the website product alone, the three income streams compound to around £13,000 per month. As SocialPilot, AI Receptionist, and Lead Generation come online, that figure grows materially. The worked numbers, the assumptions behind them, and the upside scenarios are in the formal proposal we share with shortlisted candidates. We model conservatively and show our working. No exaggeration, no marketing inflation.

Who we are looking for...

You are a senior commercial closer with a proven B2B sales track record across multiple companies. You have closed real deals, owned a number, and probably built or run a team before. You like the autonomy and earning ceiling that comes with commission-only work, and you back yourself to perform.

You enjoy being in the conversation as well as managing the operation. You see why a player-manager role is the most interesting kind of senior sales role, and you understand that staying close to the close keeps your coaching sharp and your team's respect earned.

- Self-employed contractor through your own limited company.
