Finance Analyst (Technology)
Rate: Up to £595 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Initial 6-month contract
Location: Central London (2 days per week onsite)
We are seeking a proactive, self-starting Finance Analyst to support a major technology transformation programme, including a large-scale data centre migration and the introduction of new technology services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models that track current and future technology costs, supporting investment decisions, and providing ongoing analysis as services move through migration, transition, and service introduction phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models for technology infrastructure and service costs.
- Model cost movements, savings, and investment requirements throughout a data centre migration programme.
- Track and analyse technology spend as services transition to new operating models.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities across technology programmes.
- Monitor and report on infrastructure, platform, and service costs.
- Maintain and refresh cost data across the technology application and service portfolio.
- Partner with Technology, Finance, Programme, and Service teams to provide financial insight and decision support.
- Produce clear analysis, reporting, and recommendations for stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
- Finance Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or similar financial modelling background.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Experience supporting technology, infrastructure, transformation, or change programmes.
- Ability to structure, analyse, and interpret complex financial data.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Understanding of technology cost drivers and service-based operating models is advantageous.
- Comfortable working independently and driving outcomes with minimal supervision.
