Product Delivery Manager - Electromagnetic Engineering (Contract)
Location: Berkshire - Hybrid working (1/2 days a week in office)
Contract: 6/12+ Month Contract
Rate: Up to £600 a day (Inside IR35)
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required
We are seeking an experienced Product Delivery Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of digital engineering capabilities supporting advanced Electromagnetic Engineering activities within a major aerospace and defence environment.
Reporting to the Product Owner you will be responsible for the roadmap, delivery, governance, and ongoing enhancement of digital toolchains supporting:
- Radar Cross Section (RCS) and Low Observability (LO)
- Infrared (IR) Signature Modelling
- EMC, HIRF and Lightning Effects Analysis
- Antenna Design and Integration
- Radome Performance Modelling
- RF Propagation and Electromagnetic Materials Characterisation
- Configuration Management, Test Data Management, and Digital Thread Integration
You will work closely with engineering teams, suppliers, programme stakeholders, and digital engineering leaders to ensure the successful implementation of secure, scalable, and compliant solutions across the engineering lifecycle.
Essential Experience
- 10+ years' experience delivering digital engineering capabilities within aerospace and/or defence environments.
- Strong experience supporting one or more of the following:
- RCS/LO Modelling
- IR Signature Analysis
- EMC/HIRF Assessment
- Lightning Effects Analysis
- Antenna Integration
- Radome Performance Modelling
- EM Materials Characterisation
- Knowledge of Model Based Engineering (MBE) and Digital Thread principles.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes, suppliers, and secure engineering environments.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Electromagnetics, or similar technical discipline.
- ITIL, PRINCE2, APM or equivalent experience.
Desirable
- SAFe or Agile delivery experience.
- Knowledge of EM simulation methods including MoM, FEM, FDTD, Physical Optics, and hybrid EM techniques.
- Experience with digital engineering toolchains, test-data management, and engineering assurance frameworks.
- Previous experience in highly regulated, safety-critical programmes.
Security Requirements
Active UK SC Clearance is mandatory for this role. Due to programme timescales, only candidates holding current SC clearance can be considered.
