Senior Business Analyst
MUST HAVE CITIZENSHIP IN THE EU TO BE CONSIDERED
February-December 2026 (possible extention) | International Organisation Environment
Are you a Senior Business Analyst who enjoys bringing structure to complexity - especially when multiple teams, systems and cultures need to align?
If you're at your best when working independently, communicating clearly with diverse stakeholders, and shaping common design across fragmented environments, this role was written with you in mind.
Why this role is different
You'll be embedded onsite in Geneva, working within a small, trusted team that supports one of the most respected international organisations in the world. The environment is genuinely international - over 140 nationalities, collaborative by nature, and known for welcoming new joiners quickly and openly.
Your mission is not "business analysis for the sake of documentation." It's about harmonisation:
Bringing consistency across digital services
Creating common views and shared design principles
Helping multiple divisions work as one joined-up IT and service ecosystem
This is a role for someone who can connect people just as well as systems.
What you'll actually be doing day to day
Acting as a trusted Senior Business Analyst across multiple business divisions, including Procurement, Travel, Patents, Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Copyright
Working independently with stakeholders across departments to elicit requirements, challenge assumptions and document clear, actionable outcomes
Supporting the harmonisation of applications and service management processes, helping different teams align around common designs and standards
Translating business needs into structured documentation, dashboards and insights that enable confident decision-making
Using tools like JIRA to manage requirements, workflows and service management processes
Representing your team in working groups and cross-functional discussions, communicating clearly and confidently in English
What matters most for this role
We're not looking for a narrow background or someone who has done the same role in the same organisation for 20 years.
We are looking for someone who brings:
7+ years' experience in business analysis, service management, process improvement or digital transformation
Strong written and spoken English - all documentation and stakeholder relationships are in English
The confidence to work independently, without needing close supervision
Excellent communication skills - you can explain complex ideas simply and adapt your style to different audiences
A pragmatic approach to documentation: clear, concise, and purposeful
Qualifications & certifications
First-level university degree in Business, IT, Management or similar
ITIL certification
AWS certification
Business Analysis certification or formal BA methodology training (highly valued)
Language skills
English: mandatory
Additional UN languages are a strong advantage (Spanish, French, German, Arabic)
Important eligibility note
This role requires the candidate to have citizenship in the EU
