Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contract SC Cleared Business Analyst to support two key workstreams. The role requires strong analytical capability, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and experience working with product, testing, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, analyse, and refine existing business and functional requirements in collaboration with the Product Manager and Test Manager.
- Ensure all requirements are fully understood, validated, and translated into clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Support the preparation and readiness activities for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and requirement clarification sessions with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation is structured, complete, and aligned with delivery timelines.
- Conduct a structured evaluation across a suite of 17 related products to identify functionality, overlaps, gaps, and optimisation opportunities.
- Work closely with internal Business Analysts who have existing domain knowledge, leveraging their insights and guidance.
- Produce product comparison reports, feature maps, and recommendations for rationalisation or enhancement.
- Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within defence, security, or similarly structured/regulated environments.
- Strong capabilities in requirements elicitation, refinement, and documentation.
- Hands-on experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ability to analyse and compare multiple products or systems, identifying commonalities and differences.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with product, test, and delivery teams.
- Competent in producing highquality documentation, models, and evaluative reports.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, multiBA environment.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Business Analysis.
