Ad Operations Executive
Location: London, Hybrid (2–3 days in-office)

Overview:We’re a fast-paced, data-driven digital agency in London, looking for a technically-savvy Digital Operations Executive to support the execution, tracking, and optimization of digital campaigns and platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for digital technology, strong attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
You’ll play a key part in managing tagging infrastructure, website performance, and supporting cross-channel marketing activities—all while deepening your technical skillset in an environment that encourages experimentation and learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Tagging & Tracking:
- Implement and manage tracking through Google Tag Manager (GTM) across client websites and campaigns.
- Support with setup and troubleshooting of tags, triggers, and variables, ensuring clean and accurate data collection.
- Liaise with analytics and development teams to ensure reliable tracking plans and data integrity.
- Technical Campaign Support:
- Assist in the deployment of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring assets are properly tagged and tracked.
- Help configure and QA campaign pixels, UTM parameters, and custom events for platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn.
- Website & Platform Maintenance:
- Support website updates via CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Webflow), including basic content updates and HTML adjustments.
- Collaborate with developers on technical implementations and platform enhancements.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor digital performance and provide regular reports using tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and GA4.
- Identify gaps or issues in tagging and propose solutions to improve data quality.
- Process & Documentation:
- Contribute to process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge sharing around tracking, analytics, and campaign operations.
- Stay informed on the latest digital trends, tagging frameworks, and privacy regulations (e.g., cookie consent, GDPR).
Essential:
- 1–2 years in a digital marketing, operations, or analytics role—ideally within an agency environment.
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics.
- Basic proficiency in HTML (and interest in learning more about CSS/JavaScript).
- High attention to detail and ability to QA technical setups.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across teams.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with JavaScript for tag customisation or debugging.
- Experience with performance platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads).
- Exposure to A/B testing tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely).
- Understanding of data privacy standards and cookie consent platforms.
- Hands-on technical training across analytics, tracking, and CRO
