Platform Engineer - Quantitative Trading Firm | London

Join a leading quantitative trading firm building globally distributed, ultra-low-latency systems that power their research and execution platform.

You’ll work at the intersection of infrastructure, software, and performance engineering - solving deep technical problems at scale.

What you’ll do:

• Own and optimise infrastructure behind a 24/7 web data and trading platform spanning multiple clouds and regions.
• Tune Linux network stacks, automate infrastructure, and reduce latency across the pipeline.
• Partner closely with developers and infra teams to improve architecture, reliability, and performance.
• Drive adoption of modern tooling (Python, Bash, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, etc.) while staying hands-on.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience managing production systems in a global cloud environment, ideally across multi-region or multi-cloud setups.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing proxy servers in complex, distributed environments
• Skilled in Python/Bash and comfortable debugging distributed systems.
• Experience in high-throughput, low-latency, or large-scale environments (finance, trading, or scraping preferred).
