Employability Tutor Location: Glasgow & Grangemouth Start Date: 17th August 2026 Duration: 1 Week in Grangemouth, 3 Weeks in Glasgow Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm Contract Type: Sessional (potential for ongoing work)About the Role Trigon Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading National Training Provider, rated Good (Grade 2) by Ofsted. We are seeking a passionate and engaging Employability Tutor to deliver a two-week employability programme in Glasgow & Grangemouth . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trainer who is committed to helping people develop the confidence, skills, and knowledge required to move into sustainable employment. You will deliver interactive employability workshops alongside tailored one-to-one support, equipping learners with practical job-search skills, digital confidence, customer service and the tools they need to succeed in today's workplace. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging non-accredited employability and digital skills training to groups of learners.
- Provide basic IT support, including setting up email accounts, navigating online platforms, uploading documents, and completing online applications.
- Support learners with CV writing, cover letters, job applications, and interview preparation.
- Motivate learners to actively search and apply for suitable employment opportunities.
- Deliver a combination of group workshops and individual 1:1 coaching sessions to support learner progression.
- Set achievable learner goals and accurately record progress using the company database.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Complete all learner administration and documentation in line with company procedures.
- Previous experience delivering employability, adult learning, or vocational training.
- Strong IT skills with the confidence to teach learners basic digital skills.
- Experience supporting individuals with CV writing, job searching, and interview techniques.
- Ability to engage learners from a variety of backgrounds and ability levels.
- Comfortable delivering both group workshops and one-to-one coaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well organised, target-focused, and able to effectively manage learner progression.
- A genuine passion for helping people achieve positive employment outcomes.
- Availability to commit to the full programme commencing 17th August 2026.
