Site Reliability Engineer - London - Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Observability
TrinIT Talent are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to come on board for a contract engagement based in London, working 5 days per week on-site. This role falls Inside IR35 and is paying £350 per day.
Please note: Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance and immediate starters are preferred
Job Description:-
You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and availability of critical systems operating in a microservices-based architecture. Working closely with development and platform teams, you'll support the design, deployment and ongoing operation of highly available services in a production environment.
The role will involve monitoring, diagnosing and resolving incidents, improving observability, and driving automation and reliability best practices across the estate.
Key skills:-

Strong experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or Platform Engineer

Linux and Windows environments

Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

Microservices-based architectures
-
Database technologies (Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk)

Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell)

CI/CD and modern delivery practices

Incident management, diagnosing and troubleshooting production issues

Agile tooling (Atlassian Jira/Confluence)

ITIL knowledge or experience (desirable)
