VMware Engineer - London - vSphere/vSAN/NSX
TrinIT Talent are looking for a VMware Engineer to come on board for a 3-month rolling contract, expected to run for 12 months, based in London, working 1 day per week on-site. This role falls Inside IR35 and is paying £300 per day.
You must be able to interview this week and start within 1 week of offer.
Job Description:-
You will be responsible for the design, build and support of a complex virtualised environment within a large-scale enterprise and telco-focused infrastructure. Working as part of a wider engineering team, you will provide hands-on expertise across VMware technologies, compute platforms and associated tooling, while contributing to strong technical documentation and best-practice deployment standards.

Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere 8

vSAN design, build and troubleshooting

NSX experience (design and support)

Proven experience working in complex virtual environments

Telco industry experience

Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a wider engineering team

Strong technical documentation skills

vCloud Foundation 9 experience (desirable, not essential)

Cisco Compute experience, including:

Cisco B/X/C Series
-
Cisco Fabric Interconnects
-
Cisco Intersight
-
-
Experience deploying Cisco C-Series rack-mounted Servers (preferred)

Experience with Dell rack-mounted server deployments also acceptable
