Power Platform and Data Lead - Digital Transformation - Essex - Hands On - PERM - 3 days a week onsite
TrinIT Talent are looking for a MS Power Apps/Automate technical specialist to work for our client based in Essex. This role is a permanent position and is paying up to £75k per annum
This is a greenfield role, helping a client to build out their Digital Transformation from scratch - Taking tech from multiple sources/business units and funnelling it into one, modern stack for reporting, visibility and use. This role will scale with the business through Acquisition. We need someone that can help strategize, design, build and report on everything Apps and Data focussed.
Must be able to face off to C-suite stakeholders and also be happy doing all the hands on work from scratch. You will not be part of a big team providing the hands on work so need to be happy at both ends of the spectrum.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Develop Power BI dashboards, reporting and data models providing operational and commercial MI.
- Consolidate data from multiple businesses and systems into a consistent group-wide reporting model.
- Design and implement integrations between operational, scheduling, job management, finance and reporting platforms.
- Build integrations using APIs, webhooks and Middleware to automate data flows between systems.
- Replace spreadsheet-heavy and manual processes with scalable applications and automated workflows.
- Own data mapping, migration, reconciliation and data-quality activities.
- Support the selection, implementation and integration of new applications and platforms.
- Establish a repeatable technical approach for integrating newly acquired businesses.
- Explore practical uses of AI and Microsoft technologies to automate areas such as documentation, reporting, scheduling and operational triage.
- Work directly with operational teams to understand requirements before designing and delivering technical solutions.
- Own technical delivery across requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment and adoption.
Technical Experience
We are looking for strong hands-on experience across:
- Microsoft Power Platform - Power Apps, Power Automate & Dataverse
- Power BI
- Data modelling, reporting and data quality
- APIs, webhooks and systems integration
- Data migration, mapping and reconciliation
- Application and workflow development
- Systems implementation and integration
- Process automation
Experience with Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse or other ETL/data warehousing technologies would be particularly advantageous.
