Finance Systems Manager (Birmingham)

Trinity House Group are partnering with a forward-thinking organisation looking to hire a Finance Systems Manager - a pivotal role driving the connection between finance, data and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and enhance the finance systems landscape to support strategic decision-making
• Act as the go-to person for all things SQL – building, managing and optimising databases
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Use VBA to automate and streamline manual processes
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to improve data integrity and reporting capability
• Lead or support system upgrades, implementations, and integrations

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a similar Finance Systems or Data-Focused Finance role
• Strong SQL skills – you must be confident writing and optimising complex queries
• Working knowledge of VBA and Power BI
• A solid understanding of finance principles – you’ll be working closely with senior finance leaders
• Comfortable managing stakeholders, solving problems, and improving systems
