ERP Procurement and Change Management Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Cleared Oracle ERP procurement configuration and implementation specialist who will support the configuration, deployment and develop the aftercare services of the Oracle ERP procurement modules.
This role is part of the organisation's Commercial Operations team, which looks after both the running and optimisation of the current systems, and is involved in the programme to move to a new ERP system (whose scope, for procurement, includes Sourcing, Purchasing, Contracts, Supplier, eCatalogues and Reporting).
The successful candidate will work closely with a range of stakeholders across the programme to ensure the ERP system meets the organisation's business requirements and enhances the procurement processes in line with internal policies and external legislation.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for:
- Partner with the Procurement Operations Lead to support the configuration and implementation of Oracle ERP Procurement modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Technology, Sourcing, and Supplier Management, to gather, validate, and implement system requirements.
- Design and implement procurement workflows, approval hierarchies, and reporting capabilities.
- Develop and execute testing plans to validate system functionality and ensure the ERP configuration meets business requirements.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for key stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and coordinate the resolution of system issues with the Oracle implementation partner.
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configuration guides, workflow designs, and user manuals.
- Coordinate with programme subject-matter experts to resolve cross-module issues that may impact Procurement or other ERP modules.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful implementation of the new ERP solution.

Technical capabilities:
- Experience of configuration and implementation of an ERP procurement system
- Experience of working within a procurement environment within the private and/or public sector
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
- Familiarity with change management processes, methodologies and deployments
- Experience of developing communications and ERP end user training
Skills:
- Demonstrable excellent organisational, planning and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills
- Effective communications skills, with the ability to present and communicate clearly and succinctly at all levels.
