£450-500 a day inside IR35

Clearance Required: BPSS (Eligible)

Location: Manchester (In office 3 days a week)

Travel: Occasional travel (approximately once per month)

Duration: Initial 3 months

(Previous Central Government experience would be advantageous)

We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Manager to support delivery activities within a structured project environment. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure project tasks are effectively tracked, managed, and delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project delivery activities across the full lifecycle
• Engage with a broad range of stakeholders and collaborate with delivery team members
• Track and manage work items, ensuring progress is monitored and issues are escalated appropriately
• Maintain and update task tracking systems to ensure accurate reporting
• Use Jira to log, update, and track work items
• Support reporting activities and provide delivery insights
• Perform data cleansing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of project data

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience supporting delivery or project-based work
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
• Experience with task tracking, progress monitoring, and issue escalation
• Practical experience using Jira for work management and reporting
• Experience in data cleansing and maintaining high-quality data
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
