Urgent Opportunity: Senior Business Analyst (Contract)

Location: Newcastle or Leeds- Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office

Initially 3-month contract – Likely to extended

£450-500 inside IR35

Candidates must be within ~90 minutes commute of Newcastle or Leeds and able to attend the office 3 days per week.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a fast-paced delivery team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate technical discussions to support solution design
• Analyse complex business and technical processes
• Elicit and document technical requirements and user stories
• Work closely with software development teams to ensure shared understanding
• Support discovery, proof of concept and capability evaluation
• Engage with engineering stakeholders to establish requirements and priorities

Key Requirements

• Strong background working in software development environments
• Experience writing technical user stories and engineering requirements
• Ability to challenge and collaborate effectively with technical teams
• Experience across multiple technical workstreams
