Mid/Senior IT Engineer (Salesforce Focus)

I’m representing a fast-growing UK consultancy based in Newcastle that partners with both public and private sector clients to deliver complex digital transformation projects. up to £50k per annum (non-negotiable)

Remote/Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite strongly preferred, but remote will be considered for those who live further away from Newcastle.

We’re representing a client who is looking for an IT Engineer with a Salesforce focus to join their growing technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has a solid grounding in Salesforce administration and wants to build broader technical expertise with the support of a collaborative IT team.

The Role

• Administer, configure, and optimise Salesforce to meet business needs.
• Provide IT support up to 3rd line across hardware, software, and cloud platforms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver improvements.
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practice.
• Support end users with Salesforce and other IT tools, delivering training where required.

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Requirement)

Salesforce administrative experience and/or certification

Stakeholder management/collaboration experience

(These are essential – everything else can be developed and upskilled in-role)

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of Apex code and Salesforce integrations (APIs)
• 3rd line IT support experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, and cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience with ITSM platforms and documentation
