Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Java or Scala (preferred)
- Experience with languages such as Kotlin, Ruby, or JavaScript
- Deep understanding of:
- Programming paradigms
- Code design
- Testing strategies
- Accessibility
- Performance
- Security
- Proven ability to apply a range of testing tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of delivering complex services aligned to GDS standards
- Comfortable adopting new technologies; adaptable and continuously learning
- Strong experience working within agile environments
Responsibilities
- Driving elaboration and refinement of the team backlog
- Defining and implementing effective testing strategies aligned with industry standards
- Acting as the technical expert or team lead where required
- Leading technical representation during discovery phases
- Mentoring and coaching colleagues to support professional growth
- Demonstrating leadership within internal communities of practice
