Contract Android Architect / Lead Engineer - outside IR35

Role: Android Architect / Lead Engineer

Contract Length: 3 months initially

Start date: Early Jan, must be available immediately or with a 1-2 week notice period

Rate: around £500 per day - outside IR35

Location: Remote (you must be UK based with the right to work in the UK in place, we cannot work with offshore, or umbrella companies sponsoring visas)

TrueNorth are working with a large financial organisation who are looking for an Andriod Architect / Lead Engineer on a contract basis.

You will be working with the Principal Mobile Architect and Lead on an exercise to review the organisations current Android app and platform, with a view to recommending changes for new architecture, frameworks, languages for the next iteration.

Key skills and experience required:

• Extensive Android architecture and development (using Kotlin / Java)
• Working with organisations to review current development and suggesting changes
• Senior stakeholder management and engagement
• Ability to lead this on their own while working in a small team
