Business Analyst – Permanent role
We’re hiring Consultant Business Analysts to join a growing technology consultancy delivering large-scale digital transformation across complex environments, including public sector programmes.
📍 Locations: Must be based within 40 miles of either Newcastle / Leeds / Manchester (hybrid - not fixed) and comfortable travel where required.
💰 Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 (this will be dependent on banding you will be placed in after the interview)
🔐 Security: Active SC clearance preferred, or you must be eligible to obtain SC (min 5 years continuous residency in the UK with no major gaps and UK right to work)
Right to Work: You MUST have existing UK right to work documentation - please note we will not be able to consider Post-Grad Visas, or any other which are time-limited.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading discovery activities to understand business needs, processes and systems
- Eliciting, analysing and documenting requirements (epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria)
- Facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
- Translating complex business problems into clear, deliverable solutions
- Supporting delivery teams throughout build and testing phases
- Working in agile environments aligned to modern digital delivery standards
We’re looking for
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in digital / technology environments
- Experience working in agile teams
- Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate clearly at all levels
- Experience in complex organisations
- Public sector experience highly desirable and will be prioritised - ideally within Central Government departments)
