IT Support Engineer (2nd Line)

2nd Line IT Support Engineer – Up to £45,000 | West London | Hybrid | Permanent

We’re looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join a global investment management firm based in West London , providing escalation-level IT support and ensuring seamless service delivery across modern endpoint environments.

You’ll act as the bridge between 1st line, onsite, and infrastructure teams — managing complex technical issues, delivering VIP support, and taking ownership of Microsoft 365 and endpoint management tools (Intune, Configuration Manager, Autopilot).

This is a hybrid, full-time permanent role offering long-term career development into infrastructure and cloud engineering within a collaborative, high-performing global tech team.

PLEASE NOTE: Visa Sponsorship is not offered for this role and you must be based in, or within commutable distance to West London - this is a hybrid role 2-3 days onsite.

What You’ll Do

• Resolve escalated 2nd line support tickets and maintain strong SLAs
• Deliver VIP support to senior stakeholders
• Manage Windows 11 endpoints, Intune, and Autopilot deployments
• Support M365 apps (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive)
• Collaborate with the global infrastructure team on automation and cloud projects
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base materials

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in a 2nd line or escalation IT support role
• Strong Microsoft 365 and endpoint management skills
• Excellent troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking
• Hands-on experience with Intune, Configuration Manager & Azure Virtual Desktop
• Great communicator with a proactive, service-driven mindset
• IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA, AZ-104, MD-102) are a plus
