Java Software Engineer

Rate: £600 - £650 per day (Outside IR35)

Length: 6 months

Location: Stockton on Tees

Hybrid: 3 days per week on-site

We're looking for a very experienced contractor to work with a key client of ours, in helping shape the future of their platforms. The contractor will be hands on, but also be expected to provide leadership to the current team, who need help to embrace more modern working practices.

We need somebody who embraces agentic technology and can be a firm advocate in terms of pushing for inclusion.

• ReactJS
• AWS Deployment
• Work across modern FE & BE tools and products to deliver new requirements.
• Apply and reinforce engineering standards, patterns, and consistency across implementations.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver practical, maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to quality, usability, and continuous improvement across the estate.
