Senior Data Project Manager (Agile Delivery) - Inside IR35 - £750 per day - 100% Remote (UK only)
We are seeking a Senior Data Project Manager to lead the Agile delivery of complex, data-driven initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced delivery leader with a strong background in data engineering and modern data platforms, who thrives in fast-paced, iterative environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile delivery of data programmes, including data engineering, data platform, and analytics initiatives
- Own and drive delivery across cross-functional squads (data engineers, analysts, architects, product owners)
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement) to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
- Partner with Product Owners to manage and prioritise backlogs aligned to business value
- Remove delivery blockers, manage dependencies, and ensure continuous flow of value
- Track progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down/up, cycle time) and drive continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, translating technical delivery into business outcomes
- Embed best practices in data governance, quality, and operational resilience within Agile delivery
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering data engineering or data platform projects in Agile environments
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures (e.g. ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, cloud data platforms)
- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or scaled Agile)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach cross-functional teams in Agile best practices
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in iterative, fast-changing environments with evolving priorities
Desirable:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data tooling
- Agile certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Master, SAFe)
- Experience scaling Agile across multiple teams or programmes

Rate: £750 per day, Inside IR35
Location: The role is 100% remote but you must be UK based
