Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location : Watford, London - must be able to work 3 days a week onsite

Salary : up to £60,000 per annum (max, DOE) with bonus + benefits - please kindly note that this is the max salary offered.

A high-growth, international technology business operating in the critical connectivity space is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join its collaborative, forward-thinking team.

The Role:

• Own and optimise the organisation’s infrastructure across Linux, Windows, HP servers, and AzureSupport and maintain business-critical systems in a high-availability , multi-site , hybrid environment
• Troubleshoot, resolve and pre-empt infrastructure issues— attention to detail is non-negotiable
• Drive the evolution of infrastructure toward Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible
• Mentor peers
• Occasionally attend UK sites (desirable but not essential – a driving licence is helpful)

About You:

✅ Deep senior-level experience in enterprise infrastructure roles with hands-on exposure to:

• SQL Server clustering & failover (this is a must)
• Minimum 6-months exposure to DevOps practices/tools (terraform, jenkins, ansible etc)
• Windows Server / Active Directory
• Linux (Debian preferred)
• Virtualisation (VMware)
• Automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins)
• Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
