Rate: £570/day Outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Data Integration Solutions Architect to join our architecture and delivery team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists to design, validate, and guide the implementation of data integration solutions that support strategic business objectives. You will play a key role during discovery and solution definition phases, providing valuable technical insight to assess feasibility, mitigate risks, and ensure architectural alignment across projects. This position requires a strong blend of technical architecture expertise, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical designs characterised by medium complexity, risk, and business impact.
• Ensure architectural coherence, consistency, and quality across solution designs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply architectural principles, patterns, standards, and constraints to support scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Refine and optimise technical designs based on stakeholder feedback, changing requirements, and emerging business needs.
• Lead and contribute to discovery initiatives, providing technical insight and recommendations to validate the feasibility and viability of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust architectural designs.
• Challenge assumptions, clarify requirements, and identify opportunities to improve solution outcomes and business value.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, or Integration Architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, data movement, and system interoperability.
• Experience designing and governing enterprise-scale integration solutions.
• Ability to balance technical, business, and operational considerations when making architectural decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within architectural governance and assurance frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and modern data architectures.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Relevant architecture or cloud certifications.
