DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our client’s technology team on a 6-month contract. You will play a key role in supporting, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth software delivery across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, test, and deployment.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
• Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline release processes and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a cloud-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Good understanding of networking, security, and version control (Git).
